Cookie Policy

Effective date: 1 January 2025 · Last updated: 20 May 2025

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit — such as your preferences or whether you have already seen a cookie notice.

Cookies are not programs; they cannot carry viruses or access data on your device beyond what the originating website has stored.

2. How We Use Cookies

ANJ Studios Co uses cookies in three categories — and we ask for your consent before placing any non-essential cookies on your device.

3. Cookie Categories

Category 1: Essential Cookies

Always active. No consent required.

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. Without them, features like the cookie consent banner and form submissions cannot work. They do not track you or store personal data beyond what is technically necessary.

Category 2: Analytics Cookies

Requires your consent.

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website. All data is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify individual users. Analytics cookies are only loaded after you grant consent.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for analytics. GA4 uses first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions. IP addresses are anonymised before processing. Google may also set additional cookies in connection with GA4 services.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC (USA) and Google Ireland Limited (EEA/EU). Google acts as a data processor under our instructions. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Category 3: Marketing Cookies

Requires your consent. Currently not active — reserved for future use.

Marketing cookies are used to show personalised advertisements on other websites (retargeting) and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. We have not activated any marketing campaigns at this time, but you can pre-authorise or block this category using the cookie settings below.

Potential future marketing platforms: Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook / Instagram).

4. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) — a tag management system — to deploy and manage analytics and tracking scripts. GTM itself does not collect personal data. It acts as a container that fires only the tracking scripts you have consented to, based on your cookie preferences.

GTM operates under Google's data processing terms. No additional cookies are set by GTM itself.

5. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor our website's organic search performance (impressions, clicks, indexing). Search Console does not set cookies on our website and does not collect personal data from visitors.

6. Your Consent and How to Change It

When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner appears. You can:

  • Accept All — enable all cookie categories (essential, analytics, marketing)
  • Reject Non-Essential — only essential cookies are active
  • Customise — choose individual category preferences

You can change your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the website footer.

Your preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage (under the key anj_cookie_prefs). Clearing your browser data will reset your preferences and show the consent banner again on your next visit.

7. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

In addition to our consent system, you can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Please note that disabling cookies entirely may affect website functionality.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as we add new tools or services. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be communicated through the cookie consent banner.
